All About Church Communications

Be part of the network!

In 2011, the New Mexico Annual Conference will host the United Association of Communicators annual meeting.

Communicators from across the nation will gather in Albuquerque to share ideas, learn and honor the years accomplishments.

I’m looking forward to serving as host and showing my colleagues the beauty of our part of the world and what we are doing to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

I’m also excited for the opportunity to invite local church communicators from New Mexico and Northwest Texas to be part of UMAC.

Being part of UMAC is a priceless resource as you have opportunities to network, grow professionally and learn from others facing the same challenges. We share ideas, frustrations, successes, failures and our communication journey.

The relationships I have through UMAC are invaluable. I know that I have people to turn to and I’m always learning about new and exciting things. Workshops at the annual meeting are informative and relative.

UMAC 2011 is Oct. 18-21 at Hotel Albuquerque Old Town in Albuquerque. Membership, registration and workshop information will be available soon. UMAC information is available online at www.umcommunicators.org.

I encourage local church communicators in New Mexico and Northwest Texas to be a part of UMAC and attend the 2011 meeting. Together we can meet the communication needs of our churches and be in an integral part of communication God’s message to our communities.
