Mission statement of Deploy Ministry Team is "To train and send called persons to engage the culture inside and outside the church to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world."
To meet its mission, Deploy has outlined areas of focus: Facilitating Leading, Educate, Sending, Funding
Deploy Ministry Team will care for the functions of the following:
Board of Church and Society, Board of Global Ministries, Christian Unity and Interreligious Concerns, Criminal Justice, Ethnic Local Church Concerns, Hispanic/Latino Ministries, Native American Ministries, Religion and Race and any new Deploy Ministries.

VIM Leaders Training
There will be a training for Leaders of VIM teams. It will be held Saturday, April 17 at Aldersgate UMC in Lubbock.
