Hispanic/Latino ministries of the Northwest Texas Conference is working to develop Hispanic/Latino disciple-making communities where people are restored to full life in Christ and to present the gospel to every generation of Hispanic/Latino living or movng into the Northwest Texas Conference.

What are our Core Values?
Believe in God’s supernatural power and direction. Each congregation sees and understands the needs of the many thousands of Hispanics/Latinos who are without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. However, those needs are so overwhelming with multiple social, materials, emotional and spiritual needs that their own resources are limited and, therefore, expect miracles from God.
Creation of a New Future, not a recreation of the past. Each leader is in the process to understand that they are not here to reproduce the past by mexicanizing anybody. Many of the new church members come from different countries. They are here to create a new future for a new church composed of people from many countries with one language; the language of love.
Take Risks. The style of worship in our churches is vibrant and an expression of our Hispanic/Latino heritage. Sociologists describe the Hispanic protestant churches as “La Iglesia Caliente? (The Hot Church). They are learning to love one another by merging different cultures customs and language barriers.
Success is a Team Effort. Our Hispanic/Latino leaders are learning that they cannot survive in isolation. They need each other and practice this value consistently.
Creativity. Not every congregation thinks or works the same way.
Develop deep Relationships. Many of our churches are cultivating deep relationships with people within the community they serve.
Multiplication of Leaders. The formation of Incubator groups helps to Discover and promote leadership skills, Develop resources and Deploy Godly leaders.
