Honduras

David and Cindy Ceballos are serving in Honduras.
David was moved from his pastorate in Danli to Tegucigalpa where he now functions as the Country Director. GBGM recently assigned two missionaries to Honduras and David said that they're a tremendous help, especially as his Planning Committee and working on planting new churches - 3 are scheduled for this year.

Cindy was designated as the VIM Coordinator for medical teams to Honduras. She has written a How To manual for those organizing VIM medical teams. She also has been working with the Honduran Department of Health in providing medical services to rural areas, working in conjuction with the local health clinics. After identifying the needs of the Department of Health, Cindy identifies how the Methodist church teams can help. Whenever a medical team is working in the country, it is working in an area where there is a Methodist church and works in the local health clinic as an arm of that church. The program has been so successful that the Methodist church is now the only outside agency trusted and recognized by the Department of Health to provide rural health services.
