The Board of Conference Camping and the State of Texas now requires that anyone working or volunteering at a Camp Site must be certified. This certification is done online and can be done quickly.

Help us meet that goal by getting signed up for camp early! See the Summer Camp Schedule at www.cetacanyon.org , www.butmancamp.org2010 Early Bird Registration fee: $215 before April 1. $230 from April 1 to May 15. After May 15 the fee will be $245! The Young Elementary Camp at Butman will have the following registration fee: $115 before April 1, $125 from April 1 to May 15, and $140 after May 15.

Registration forms can be downloaded from either camp's website. If you want to volunteer at camp this summer there is a volunteer registration form on both web sites. All volunteers must be willing to pay a $75 registration fee and have a criminal background check. We are so blessed to have nice camping facilities. Camp is a blessing for many lives and it's an important part of what we do.

Camping Philosophy
Church camping is a viable and effective means for furthering the ministry of the church. Provided with a living experience in a “place apart” over an extended time, persons are able to explore God’s story, to experience the vitality of a Christian community, and to grow in relationships. This goal is divided into four broad areas: God's Creation, God and People, Our Response to God, Our Commitment to God and Service.

Grace Camp Donations needed!
Since it's inception in 2001, this camp has relied heavily on Angel Tree Funding to provide a low cost or no cost program to the children of an incarcerated parent(s). These children usually come from non-churched families and, while scholarship opportunities are available through Conference donations, the majority of the funding came from Angel Tree. Due to changes in Angel Tree funding, those resources are no longer available and we are diligently working to provide funding for a minimum of 100 children.
