  • McMurry to honor Phil Collins

    Legendary singer, songwriter, actor and producer Phil Collins will be recognized at McMurry University Spring 2012 Commencement with an honorary Doctor of History degree acknowledging his longtime pursuit of collecting artifacts and documents related to the Alamo and the Texas Revolution.

  • UMCOR Tornadoes 2012

  • Episcopacy process

    The Northwest Texas Conference will receive a new episcopal leader Sept. 1.

    For 12 years, Bishop D. Max Whitfield has served the Northwest Texas / New Mexico area.  He will  retire as an active bishop Aug. 31 and go on to serve as Bishop in Residence at Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University.
