The Northwest Texas Conference has joined in the fight against malaria, pledging to raise $70,000 for Imagine No Malaria.
Clergy and laity from churches in the Conference gathered at Roadshows in each district to learn more about Imagine No Malaria and how they could be part of this global ministry.
Bishop Max Whitfield asked churches to be part of a Sunday to Save Lives Feb. 6 or to select a Sunday to participate. A Sunday to Save Lives is a Sunday to share information about Imagine No Malaria and raise money to provide life saving mosquito nets, health care and education.
