2010 Conference Health Insurance Rates Announced
The Conference Board of Pension and Health Benefits have announced the 2010 Health Insurance rates.
The monthly rates are as follows:
Active Clergy and Laity:
Clergy Single - $983
Clergy Family - $1,363
Laity Single - $746
Laity Family - $1,432
Retired Ministers, spouses and surviving spouses
Under age 62
Retired Clergy and Spouses under age 62 - Family-$1,363 Single-$983
Surviving Spouses under age 62 - $746

Surviving Spouses age 62 through 64 - $373

In order for our conference to qualify for a rebate from Health Flex, we are required to have at least 60% of Active Participants and their covered spouses to complete the Health Risk Assessment on WebMD. You may access this questionnaire by visiting www.gbophb.com and clicking on Health Risk Assessment. This requirement is for Active pastors only. Retirees do not have to complete the questionnaire. BCBS PPO B1000 - Clergy and Lay
Provides comprehensive health benefits for eligible clergy and lay employees. This plan is mandatory for all full time clergy. BCBS - Medicare Companion - Clergy and Lay

Medco Pharmacy - Clergy and Lay
Provides prescription drug benefits through a mail order service (Medco by Mail) for long term prescriptions or through a local pharmacy (retail). Their web site is www.medco.com Click here

United Behavioral Health - Clergy and Lay (Active and Retirees)

Wellness - Clergy and Lay
The Conference Board of Pension and Health Benefits provides a wellness screening at Annual Conference. The basic testing package is provided free of charge to all health plan participants.
